Magical Rooms Designing Guide # 1 “Themed Wonderland”

Hello everyone! I would just like to say that, I’m not quite good at designing but I shall try my best and I hope that I won’t make any mistakes so please forgive me if there is a mistake. Okay so our title for this MRDG is Themed Wonderland… Have you ever wondered what you’re room would look like if it’s randomly decorated, I think it would not look appealing and beautiful so I’m here to make things right! XD So I would like to show my room (because I do not have another room so I will do the edition with my room 1 for now until I buy another for our MRDG posts) with an Inn/Hotel theme.

I was thinking to put walls but don’t have the materials to do so, I instead used my imagination and creativity (ummm…) to transform the room into an inn. It’s still not finished yet so, I shall have to get more materials to make more furnitures, and modify my room to make it look like a hotel. What am I saying in here? I’m saying that you should plan a theme for your room, may it be a dark palace, a swimming pool, an ocean, a beach, a forest, and many many more! Adding a theme to a room is a common skill in designing rooms at MR. If you’ve done that, then the next thing you should do is make furnitures compatible to your theme! And finally, arrange the furnitures perfectly fit to your theme, keep in mind you can also make themes like Alice in Wonderland (Wonderland). Don’t be afraid to do it, as long as you think your room is beautiful, it is! When decorating your room, put your heart in what you do. Please note that everything that has theme or is themed doesn’t make it automatically beautiful… There are some that’s actually not. And also, random is not always bad, in the upcoming posts, I shall write about it and how you can make randomness beautiful. Cuddle has nice rooms by the way, you should check out her rooms… Here are her rooms:

As you can see, her room has a theme: Casino.

And here, it looks like her room is the Dark Forest.

And finally, a lovely bridge! She has many wonderful rooms but I’m not going to spoil them for you, so if you want to see them, go to her rooms in MR or look for a forum post made by her titled: “Update Room ( been awhile hehe)”

  1. I already like how your hotel/inn looks! Nice how you situated the guest rooms and the inside space looks comfy too.
I also agree with the part that if you only put heart, devotion and patiency in putting all the little details into the right place while designing your room space, the result will always turn out great! Nice post Spongy!
