Magicaloss Picture Diary: First Venture into Lost Mythos

I’ve achieved most things I wanted to do in PG so I’ve been playing Magicaloss quite often. I’m currently at around level 90–a huge improvement from where I was before when I started (around level 30). Lilli helped me level which was really helpful (powerlevelled me quite a bit). I’ve also been Zoisite hunting with Lilli and was able to not only get 5 Zoisites to sell, but I was also able to buy a Healing Book for 200S. I used the coins from selling the Zoisites to expand my warehouse as well as buy another Healing Book and a Sapphire (I used the 2 Healing Books and the Sapphire to unlock Naga!)

My squire actually died just recently. I didn’t have 400S and I didn’t want my squire to die so I took the opportunity to get Magicaloss membership (it cuts down the revival price to 200S!) Luckily, after buying the items for unlocking the seal to the Serpent Palace, I had around 274S left over which was enough to revive my squire. Farming Naga for Gold Scales gave quite a significant amount of exp so my squires and I were able to level up some more.

Serpent Palace

My squire died a few days before I was able to unlock the palace so I was able to go further into Lost Mythos for a bit. I’ve actually died once already (so technically, this would be my second venture into Lost Mythos) because of one of those plant creatures (I believe it was a Man-eater?) so I had to restart again. Luckily, it was on a really early floor.

Anyway, now that I’ve managed to collect some Gold Scales, I thought it would be easier to try and go further. I’ve managed to reach floor 1000! Well, it’s quite low compared to how far others are in but it’s an achievement for me lol. After reaching this floor, things began to get more exciting as stronger monsters appeared…

At first, I hesitated bringing my squires with me so collecting items went really slowly… I managed to increase their HP quite a bit so I later thought it’d be fine if they accompanied me.
I really liked the scenery on floors 1000+…
Monsters like Raiju started appearing, too! I found it difficult to fight with a magic sealing tower present but thanks to Gold Scales, it was much easier to do so (I did have to be careful, though, as one mistake could easily lead to failure).
I was really fascinated by the waterfall. It was fun seeing the environment design…
…and suddenly finding these scary-looking creatures staring at you. You never know what will appear.
At the first few floors of this new section (1000+), I was quite lucky since I didn’t encounter many magic sealing towers. After going further, they became more common. Without these towers, it’s quite easy to defeat enemies by freezing them.
After defeating the Cerberus, it was time to deal with the strong Man-eater (I believe its actual name is something like Blue Banana Plant?).
I encountered some more towers… The background looks really nice!
There were also these Cait Sith Knight enemies. Quite small and slow, but they can dish out some damage if you let them. Its level was higher than the Uni-Pegasi but the latter was far more annoying since they move really fast and my Sleipnir barely scratches them unless I deal critical hits.
There were these strange animal symbols…
…and as always, the background was really nice to look at.
Raiju appeared again! At one point during this fight, I got trapped between Raiju and the snails. The snails were quite annoying as they had this long range spit attack. I almost got paralysed by Raiju!
There were also drawings depicting what I assume is a fight between the magicians of Orthos Mythos and the monsters.

More Lost Mythos monsters.

The Blue Banana Plant seems invulnerable to sleep so I could either chip at its health slowly by back-stepping after hitting it with Sleipnir or petrifying it then bashing it afterwards with my Cosmic Club. It could shoot water from afar horizontally and I think I had low health so I chose to petrify it. The Cosmic Club’s star effects drags the frame rate down a lot, though. It’s a really good weapon for Magicaloss but it’ll be necessary to turn the effects off if you do use it…
This was the second time I encountered Hydra!
I finally found a Red Dragon in Lost Mythos! I actually encountered them a few times in players’ rooms. It goes down in a few hits so it’s not that hard (it seems quite easy to freeze, too!)
It only took one blizzard spell to freeze it.
I encountered more monsters! (This one’s called Serpent Worm.)

At the time of writing this, the furniture series (Bathroom 2) just ended and a new one (Wedding) started so I decided to take a 4th party member in an adventure…

Now we had a full party! lol
The Furniture Guild wanted to gather 10 “Threads of Happiness” from Pan. The next floor had Galgenmännleins but no Pan…
We managed to find a Pan (I was surprised because I wasn’t expecting to. lol) but sadly, the cat got defeated.

It’s currently Rainy Season in Magicaloss (until the 3rd of July) so “Rain Banana Plants” (literal) appear in players’ rooms. I used to hate encountering them because they could easily defeat me (and my squires). However, now that I’ve levelled up some more, they don’t really pose any significant threat.

Now that I’ve levelled up some more, I’m able to spawn one in my room!
They drop “Banana Water Bag” and “Rain Fruit”. I made the blue poncho set with these.
